Hexagram was started back in 2003 by Aaron Miller who, after being in other metal bands in his local town of Portsmouth, decided to really go for the style that he had wanted to do for 10 years. Influenced heavily by bands such as Pantera, Crowbar, Down and Fear Factory he started writing songs he’d wanted to create for a long time. First off doing things solo to keep his vision clear before getting other musicians involved to take things further. Aaron wrote solidly for the next 3 years whilst trying to get the line up stable.

In late 2006, Marty O’Hara joined on Bass and Nick Menyhart on drums, the band now sounds heavy whilst being refreshingly melodic, and extremely tight.

Hexagram, now a 3 piece, grabs the attention of everyone that hears them, and as a live 3 piece, this band is as heavy as any other metal act out there, there are no holes in the sound and the songs are large and very dynamic.

The band are looking forward this year to get as many shows under their belt as possible, they want everyone to hear this stuff live where it should be heard, and next year the live shows will be taken to the next level, by taking the band to perform outside of the UK.
